Sensational Salsa Dance Video

Ok, here is a real gem. It's some sensational salsa from Nilson and Deisy of Colombia, the 2007 world salsa champions. And you'll see why they got the championship. With innovative movies, stunning acrobatics and salsa flair they danced their way to the championships. This video and salsa performance is all positives as far as I'm concerned.

Great Salsa Video

This video is from the 06 World Salsa Championships held in California.They do advanced steps and they incorporate the basics too very well. 

Positives: Obviously, they've practiced a lot so they're really good at it, their movements are very clean and crisp. But with practice, and a great dance partner it's possible to do this. 

Negatives: Salsa dancing competitively is getting a little 'gimmicky'. It's become more like gymnastics with dizzying speeds and well, not enough of the hip movements and 'salsa flair'.   

But yeah, at the end of the day this IS a wicked salsa video, and a delight to watch regardless of what you may think of it. Enjoy.
